Translation signifies for me a deeper process of creativity.

 

I have translated since my school days. Interestingly, my first translation assignment came at University when I was asked to translate a few poems of the Nobel prize winning Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. 
 

My first translation job with the BBC, World Service, Hindi Section was an excellent training that carved my path to professional translation. I have over thirty years of translation experience.
Later after completing my post-graduation in Modern English language and Linguistics, I joined the Chartered Institute of Linguists as a member. Here I took courses with the CIOL to augment my translation techniques.

Although, I prefer to work on paper, I work with equal ease online using Word with Track Changes.
 

I will:

• Offer translations with specialist revision included, embedded with clarity, accuracy and backed by in-depth research

• Provide wide experience of having translated a range of technical, legal, financial, educational, and commercial documents.

• Establish excellent relationship with clients by providing regular customer support, actively pursuing feedback to ensure understanding and customer satisfaction.

• Remain informed and educated on technical terms used, to ensure that the superior quality standard of translation is never compromised.
